Banana Poppers

This is a simple but satisfying treat.  Wait until your bananas are ripe but not mushy.  Cut the banana into large chunks or bite-sized pieces, and then cut each piece in half.  Fill with a thick swipe of peanut butter or almond butter.  Freeze pieces in a plastic container.

When ready to eat, let pieces thaw for 3-5 minutes.  Otherwise, the banana pieces will be too hard.

Enjoy this sweet, frozen freat as a pick-me-up midday or to ward off any afternoon cravings!
